In memory of Tim Rees

Tim Rees, former Chairman of the Board of Governors, sadly passed away last Friday 23 July 2010. Tim joined the Board of Governors in April 1992 as an Independent Member, becoming Chairman in January 1996 up until his retirement from the Board in May 2002.

There will be a memorial service in Christchurch, Radyr, on 4 August 2010 at 12.15 pm, for which Leigh Bracegirdle, former University Secretary, will be organist. This service will follow a private family cremation service earlier in the morning. The church is expecting large numbers and should be able to seat up to 450. There is likely to be severe traffic congestion around the church, so that those wishing to attend will need to allow plenty of time to park and get to the church.
