New social space for staff and students

The area that used to house Blackwell’s Book Shop, next to Glamorgan Business School, will be fitted out as a social space for students and staff during August.

The space, due to open ahead of the new academic year, will be multi-functional and informal, allowing students and staff to work or to relax.

The space will feature Wi-Fi access, sofas and breakfast bar tables and chairs, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment in which to catch up on work, or to meet friends and colleagues.

entry to the space will be through the existing Student Administration Office, which will be updated to create a more welcoming environment and eye catching, colourful graphic panels are being considered to adorn the walls around the space to make it as inviting as possible.
